This page is for companies doing renovation, kitchen cabinets, flooring, painting and similar work. In this trade the customer does not come to you; you go to the customer's home. So your website is where the customer meets you first.
01What the site needs
- Project photos. Your own work, before and after. Write the district and what was done for each project.
- A page for each service. Kitchen renovation, bathroom, flooring, painting, drywall. Examples of that work on each page.
- A site visit request. One button that lets the customer send photos of the job on WhatsApp and ask for a visit.
- Areas you serve. A list of the districts you work in.
- How you work. Visit, written quote, schedule, handover. Customers want to know what happens when.
- Your team. Seeing who will do the work earns trust.
If you mention guarantees, certificates or years on the site, only write true ones. Customers will ask about them during the visit.
02Project pages: your way onto Google
To appear in searches such as "Ataşehir kitchen renovation" or "Kadıköy flooring", a page about work you did in that district helps. Open a short page for each project:
- District and job in the title: "Kitchen renovation in Ataşehir".
- A few sentences on what was asked for and what was done.
- Before and after photos.
- The site visit button at the end of the page.
Google's search guide says what matters is that the page is written for people and is useful. Do not copy the same text for each district; make every project really different. More detail is in What Is SEO?
03Google Business Profile: service area
If you go to your customers, Google asks you to hide your address and enter the areas you serve. You can add up to 20 areas, and they should not reach further than about 2 hours' drive from your business. To open the profile, follow the steps in our Google Business Profile guide.
When a job is finished, ask every customer for a review. Reviews with photos let the next customer see your work. How to do it is in How to Get More Google Reviews.
04A question customers ask: is a permit needed?
Answering this on your site earns trust. Under Article 21 of Turkish Zoning Law No. 3194, changes to a licensed building need a new licence. But the following work, as long as it does not affect the load-bearing structure, needs no licence:
- Joints, interior and exterior plaster, paint and whitewash
- Gutters and drains
- Window and door frames, floor and ceiling coverings
- Electrical and plumbing repairs
- Roof repairs and re-laying roof tiles
Work that touches a load-bearing wall, column or beam is not covered. Municipalities can also list other work that needs no licence in their own zoning rules. If you are not sure about a job, send the customer to the municipality.
