Most customers in Türkiye find businesses on Google. But if you serve Russian-speaking customers and visitors from Russia, some of them use Yandex Maps. Being there is free too.
01Before you start
- A Yandex account that belongs to the business. Yandex recommends not using a personal account. A business cannot be moved to another account later.
- Search first. Your business may already be on Yandex. If so, you do not create a new listing; you verify your ownership.
- Your details. Business name, type of activity, an address customers can visit, phone and website.
02Adding it step by step
- Sign in to Yandex Business with your Yandex account.
- On the organisations page, enter your business name and choose the main type of activity from the list.
- Enter the address of the office, shop or branch customers can visit.
- Add your phone number and your website or social media account.
- Verify the phone with the code sent by text or automated call. The code usually arrives within 10 minutes.
- Submit the application. You can follow its status in the requests section.
From the map
You can also add the business directly on Yandex Maps. On a computer, right-click where your business is, add an object and choose organisation. On a phone, use the profile icon, edit the map, then add a new object.
If you have no physical address
If you only work online, you choose a city or region instead of a street address.
03Review and publishing
- Review of the application can take up to three days.
- After approval the business is added to Yandex Maps automatically, and it can be found by name in Yandex Search from the day after publication.
- If the status has not changed after two weeks, contact Yandex support.
Make sure the name, address and phone on Yandex match your Google Business Profile and your website.
04Fill in the profile
After approval, add the rest in Yandex Business: opening hours, photos, products and services. Only a person with verified rights can change the details, and only through Yandex Business.
For your Google profile, see our Google Business Profile guide. Keeping both profiles with the same details makes life easier.
